Who I am...

I am no "Average Guy" it seems we are living in a unique era, in a complex universe; and I, like the times and the world we live in, am not easily defined.

In one realm, I thoroughly enjoy the company of others while being utterly dramatic or comically witty. In another sphere of my personality, I enjoy solidarity and being alone with my thoughts and ideas. I can work in a variety of vocations from graphic designer to nightclub bouncer; from photographing famous people to driving a forklift in a warehouse; from being a 3D animation designer to working in retail; and the list goes on.

What defines me most however, are the things that I love.

I can almost find no greater joy then when I get the chance to utilize my vast imagination. When I am doing design work, I look forward to being able to be the most creative I could be. I enjoy the challenge of taking someone's idea and bringing it to reality. I enjoy being able to talk to people and really understand what they would like to see in their design ideas. Whether it's a logo for their business or a website store, I think it is wonderful to see the satisfaction in a person's eyes when they see what I can produce.

I also love to figure things out and see how they work. Whether it's finding the best computer design for website, becoming a black belt in karate, or re-tiling the bathroom; I enjoy being "Da Vinci-like" in understanding what's going on and how to make it better. I'm a great admirer of Leonardo Da Vinci's plethora of talents and interests. I feel I strive to be like him and not allow myself get stagnant in my knowledge or my abilities.

But of all the things I love most in this world, there is nothing dearer to me than my children. The most amazing job I never applied for, but am utterly grateful to have, is that of "Dad." My sons are my greatest creation and my biggest challenge. I see within them all the good and bad traits that both their mom and I posses, and everyday it is welcomed but constant problem solving skill to keep up their needs and desires.

I am grateful for my family, for my friends, for my country and for my good health to enjoy them all on a daily basis. I am glad to be living now, in this age (whatever "age" future historian will refer to it as). I am glad to be living in a time when so many wonderful inventions and innovations have been achieved. Of all these things, I look forward to what the future brings. I welcome being a part of the discoveries of tomorrow.
